The 'endgame', as referred to in this wiki, is the area of the game where the Story Mode's gameplay and storyline changes heavily, to set up the ending of the game, and playability of the Badlands. The blast guns and anti-air guns become quality and available at this time, all non-soldier drones become available regardless of their pilot's intention to join the other side or give up their efforts, including Shoya and Yui, and high-level items begin being found in chapter rewards. The endgame is also when the difficulty level raises again, and to new levels. It consists of Chapters 18 through 26, and Badlands 30 through 60. By Badlands 40, beam weapons are commonplace and beam element begins to shift into the normal method of attack with regular weapons becoming a rarity and special attack.
